About the project

Standups.io was an app for asynchronous video standups. Instead of requiring everyone to join a meeting at the same time, team members could record and share their updates.

I worked as a freelance mobile developer to create the MVP with React Native.

My part

I developed product features and integrated the camera, audio, and video flows that made the idea work. Media features can look straightforward from the final interface, but they quickly reach permissions, file handling, device differences, upload behavior, and all the ways a recording can be interrupted.

I also fixed bugs, provided technical support, and worked directly with the client to understand what the MVP needed. That close feedback loop was useful because the product was still discovering its shape.
