Spot Light

A spot light is a light that illuminates objects in a specific area.

To add a spot light, expand the Spot button in the lighting controls and check enabled.

Properties Panel

Once the spot light is enabled, the light properties will be displayed in the properties panel.

When added to the scene, the spot light will be positioned at a random position.

Color

Color emitted by the spot light.

Intensity

Defines the brightness of the spot light.

Position

Point where the spot light is located.

Distance

Distance from the position of the spot light.

Angle

Angle of the spot light. The larger the angle, the wider the spot light.

Penumbra

Size of the penumbra. The penumbra is the area where the light is not strong. The larger the penumbra, the stronger edge of the spot light.

Power

Strength of the spot light.

LookAtObject

When enabled, the spot light will point towards the model's position.

Direction

Point where the spot light is pointing. When LookAtObject is enabled, the direction wont be used.

Rotation

Rotation of the spot light. When LookAtObject is enabled, the rotation wont be used.

Transform

Changes the transform type for modifying spot light's position, rotation and scale in the 3D view.

Decay

Rate at which the intensity of the spot light decreases.
